At inquiry step, under confidentiality agreement, the customer meets Chemium’s commercial and development teams. This is the occasion to understand each other’s needs and to set the objectives of the collaboration. Product specifications should be shared, and any further piece of information owned by the customer will be of interest to facilitate the development process. This involves non-exhaustively: solubility, stability, typical conversion rates, impurity profiles, … Of course, unknown or unpublished Grignard compounds will also be accepted.
With the above data in hand, the laboratory team will initiate the project’s feasibility studies with a first evaluation on paper.
